Hardwood Conservatory (private client) - based on our reputation for quality and value, New Forest Timber Solutions was commissioned by a private individual to design and construct a beautiful hardwood conservatory, incorporating a wood burner.

From design to groundworks, manufacturing and construction, New Forest Timber Solutions are project managing this hardwood conservatory installation.

The build phases can be seen below from preparation through to completion

The first stage of construction begins with preparing the base and foundations for the conservatory.

Each installation may be different in its requirements, for this installation, it is necessary to take into account existing underground service cables and the surrounding geography of a slope underpinned with clay.

In addition, this design required a brick chimney breast construction incorporated into the structure, suitable for a wood burner.

Details of work commencing on the conservatory interior will follow shortly.

Following the successful installation of the solid oak frame, the conservatory is ready to receive the glass panes, which were chosen for their thermo properties.

This design incorporates two opeing roof windows and bespoke windows throughout, some of which open.

The glass used for this clients' conservatory retains heat in the winter and reflects heat during the summer, contributing to a more even and comfortable temperature throughout the year.

Following the glass fitting, work will commence on the aesthetics of the exterior including any staining, and the fitting of guttering.
