Private client commissions NFTS Construction to design, gain planning permission and build a garage with a sail loft incorporated. To fulfill these criteria, NFTS Construction used a reinforced raft foundation with face brick work, a cut roof and for aesthetics, Western Red Cedar clad gables.

One feature of this stunning building is the external cedar cladding.
Designed to sit well within its surroundings, this building looks attractive and in place. The internal and external finishing is of high quality whilst reflecting the main characteristics of the accompanying home. |

Internal constrution nears completion
With the building water tight, work began on the interior of this studio garage.
A bespoke staircase leads up to the loft space which has 6 roof windows allowing natural light to flood in. |

Cut roof with strengthened first floor
The garage structure was designed by NFTS Construction with both the practicality and strength requirements in mind but also the views of the New Forest National Park Planning Authorities.
This helped ensure the clients needs were met and planning successful. |

Close proximity to foliage and existing buildings
Despite the close proximity of the trees and existing buildings, NFTS Construction had no problems with the installation of this new build garage.
Design was aimed at sympathetically positioning the new garage into its' surroundings with minimum impact. |
